Hitty Fun and Games

For last month’s photo challenge on Hittygirls, members of the group posted pictures of their Hitty dolls and their friends having fun and playing games. I uploaded this photo of Michael Langton Hitty and Hitty Myrtle skating in the Dolly Olympics. You may recognize their costumes, which they borrowed from Kitty Friend Maxine.

The moderators for this challenge put together a prize package for one randomly selected winner, and that lucky recipient was me! Now I am going to share some photos of the dolls enjoying their gifts. The prizes included a mini golf set with a green, 2 putters and golf balls; a woven carryall bag adorned with charms; a tiny deck of playing cards; a jump rope; and most amazing of all, a precious little jointed peg wooden doll.

The mini golf set was a big hit! David and Jordan enjoyed practicing their putting skills.

Michael Langton Hitty and Hitty Myrtle celebrated their win by having a picnic. They used the carryall bag to hold all their picnic supplies.

The tiny peg wooden doll was a favorite with all the Hittys.

Mabel sewed her a tiny dress from scraps of lace and ribbon and named her Petunia.

Olivia claimed the jump rope. She loves jumping barefoot on the grass.

Sharleen practiced some sleight-of-hand magic tricks with the deck of cards.

You can see how much fun everyone had with the surprise package. If you want to participate in future challenges, you can join the Hittygirls group and play along with us.
